Jawbone UP or Fitbit Flex

I’ve been using the Jawbone UP since its release and made the switch to the Fitbit Flex on July 6th.  Since Fitbit announced the Flex, I kept an eye on it and read the reviews when the band was finally released.  My main reason for making the switch was my UP no longer vibrated and if you do an online search, a lot of users have this issue.  I couldn’t find my receipt or the UP box so I couldn’t request an exchange so I decided to get the Fitbit Flex – after a week or so waiting for it to be in stock at my local Best Buy.

Even though I’ve been using the Flex for a few days, I would recommend the Fitbit Flex.  There are things the Flex does better and there’s other things the UP does better.

iOS App

Overall, I like the Fitbit iOS app.  Viewing some of the data in detail isn’t great and entering food is much better on the UP app but I personally prefer the Fitbit iOS app.
